The history of our institution goes back to the year 1946. Since the school was set up, thousands of students have graduated, and hundreds of teachers were involved in the didactic-pedagogical process. Over the 60 years of its existence this educational institution underwent multi-directional structural and organizational changes. Those changes have always been focused on the improvement of teaching process as well as close connection of the subjects taught with the economical demand of the region and the local labour market.

The Centre of Continuing Economists Education was established on the 1st of September 1980. It cosisted of the following assocciated schools:

• Policealne Studium Zawodowe dla Pracujących – Post-highschool Study for Employed
• Liceum Ekonomiczne dla Pracujących – Economic Highschool for Employed
• Policealne Studium Zawodowe Zaoczne – Extramural Post-highschool Vocational School
• Liceum Ekonomiczne Zaoczne – Economics Extramural Highschool.
• Średnie Studium Zawodowe – Secondary Vocational Study
• Oddział w Wejherowie z Liceum Ekonomicznym i Średnim Studium Zawodowym – Branch in Wejherowo with Economic Highschool and Secondary Vocational School

The Centre provides daily, evening and extramural classes. Courses in accountancy, IT as well as others are organized, depending on the labour market demand.

60 years of experience of the institution reflects in the metod of teaching. The school places takes special care of preparing its students according to current needs of the labour market. The teaching staff has high methodical qualifications, which has a significant impact on the educational process.
